Hydrocolloid flange extenders

At times, even the best flanges can struggle to cope with the demands of a busy lifestyle. Framing the flange with tapes, strips or patches is one way to gain extra adhesion, but this method can cause problems with adverse reactions to the strong adhesives.  If you sometimes need to ‘picture frame’ your pouch to give extra security then HydroFrame is the product for you. HydroFrame offers a gentler alternative to adhesive tapes.

HydroFrame is ideal for the following:

• Parastomal hernia
• Prolapsed stoma
• Bony prominence
• Poorly sited stoma
• Stoma with dips, creases or scars

Hydrocolloids provide the optimal combination of adhesion and skin friendliness. HydroFrame is a thin flexible hydrocolloid.
